My journey began with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, where I developed a strong foundation in business strategy, management, and entrepreneurship. This educational background equipped me with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the business world, particularly in the luxury industry.
With an innate interest in gemstones, I pursued further specialization by completing a Graduate Gemologist course with the International Gemological Institute (IGI), where I gained comprehensive theoretical knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals. This in-depth training ignited my passion for understanding the science and artistry behind fine gemstones.
Eager to complement my academic knowledge with practical experience, I worked as a Diamond Grader and Emerald Sorter, roles that allowed me to refine my technical skills and develop a meticulous eye for quality. These experiences were instrumental in enhancing my expertise in gemstone grading, assessment, and sourcing, providing me with invaluable hands-on insights into the intricacies of the gemstone industry.
Now, as an aspiring jewelry businesswoman, I am focused on building a brand that seamlessly integrates my business acumen, gemological expertise, and commitment to craftsmanship.
